TRAINING OF PILOTS FOR THE PORT AUTHORITY OF DAKAR IN SENEGAL

TME organized training sessions for Pilots of the Port Authority of Dakar during the month of November in 2022. These sessions aimed at updating the 3D modeling of the Port Authority of Dakar based on updated nautical and geographical data and the organization of training sessions in piloting and maneuvering ships in a FULL MISSION BRIDGE on Tanger Med Marine Simulator (TMMS).

These sessions focused on familiarizing pilots with the new vessels and new types of propulsion likely to frequent the Port Authority of Dakar and to carry out maneuvers in emergency situations to better manage the risks related to piloting activity and optimize the use of resources such as tugboats.

Additional sessions will be scheduled in 2022.
