SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT KSAR SGHIR – KSAR ALMAJAZ

Since 2016, the Foundation has been helping to fund the solid sanitation management program in the area.

This year, a partnership agreement was signed between Tanger Med Foundation, Tanger Med Utilities (TMU), and the Taâzor Group representing the municipalities of Ksar Sghir and Ksar AlMajaz in order to implement a solid waste management program in both municipalities.

The collection of the waste and the transportation and unloading of the waste to the public landfills of Fnideq will be carried out by TMU and the Taâzor Group.

TMU is responsible for the distribution of water and electricity and the management of sanitation services in Tanger Med area. It will set up a training program for the Taâzor Group’s teams on technical aspects such as collection methods, business ethics, collection safety, driver training, etc.
