TC3 CONTAINER TERMINAL STARTS COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS

After 18 months of construction works, the TC3 container terminal of Tanger Med 2 port received its first commercial ship on January 1st, 2021, marking the start of the terminal’s operations.

With a nominal capacity of 1 million TEU, the TC3 container terminal covers 36 hectares with an 800 linear metre quay and an 18-metre depth. It is equipped with 8 STS quay gantries and 22 RTGs for container storage.

TC3 est opéré dans le cadre d’une concession octroyée à « Tanger Alliance » constituée de l’opérateur Marocain Marsa Maroc, des opérateurs portuaires internationaux, Contship Italia et Eurogate et de l’armateur Hapag-Lloyd.
