NEW INSTALLATIONS AT TANGER MED INDUSTRIAL PLATFORM

Tetouan Park, operated and managed by Tanger Med Zones, recently welcomed a new industrial operator: Japanese Tobacco International (JTI). The multinational conglomerate specializing in tobacco products decided to invest 30 million euros to build its brand-new plant in Tetouan Park, which covers an area of 4.7 hectares and is expected to create 500 new jobs at full capacity.

IGA PHARMA

IGA Pharma, a leading company in the pharmaceutical and parapharmaceutical sector, has set up its second plant in Tetouan Park. The company signed the agreement at the end of September, further strengthening its commitment to contributing to the socio-economic development of the region through its investment of 7 million dirhams. The new project covers an area of 4,017 square meters and will be dedicated to the manufacture of parapharmaceutical preparations, as well as medical supplies and equipment, for the national market.
