ANJRA HERITAGE FESTIVAL TO PROMOTE CULTURE IN KHMISS ANJRA

Tanger Med Foundation reaffirms its commitment to promoting culture in the province of Fahs Anjra by partnering with the third edition of the Anjra Heritage Festival, which is designed to showcase the region’s tangible and intangible heritage as a driving force for sustainable development.

The festival, organized from December 22nd to 24th by the “Anjra Heritage Foundation” under the theme “Heritage of the Anjra Region: A Locomotive for Sustainable Development,” sought to contribute to the development of the municipality’s cultural sphere, promote village tourism, enhance and market local products, and celebrate the region’s cultural heritage.

The festival program included folk music performances, poetry sessions, an exhibition of handcrafted goods, as well as scientific roundtables on storytelling.

The festival also serves as a platform for community interaction and improved communication between the local population and visitors, showcasing the richness of the heritage and its active role in promoting sustainable development.

The resumption of the festival comes after a break of several years marked by the pandemic and the recent earthquake in Al Haouz. This year’s edition will breathe new life into the event, ensuring its continuity through a rich and diverse program.
