CHOIR AND PIANO WORKSHOPS AT MELLOUSSA

Supported by Tanger Med Foundation, the “Âme de Tanger for Choral, Art, and Culture” association and the “Melloussa for Development” association, the Melloussa choir workshop was established in 2018 through a successful collaboration among the three partners.

The workshop, which aims to help rural children develop through singing, music, and culture, now brings together 22 talented youngsters. The choir had the opportunity to perform on several occasions: In 2018, it took part in the Excellence Awards at Tanger Med Port Complex. In 2019, it took part in the spring concert at the Spanish Lycée Severo Ochoa, and in 2022 the choir gave a concert at the Ramon y Cajal school.

Thanks to the support of Tanger Med Foundation, which believed in this artistic project from the outset and provided the choir with a fully equipped space, the young artists are distinguishing themselves not only through their musical abilities, but also through their academic achievements.

This year, “Âme de Tanger for Choral, Art, and Culture” association broadened its spectrum of influence by introducing a piano workshop for a pilot group of two children. An initiative designed to introduce children to musical instruments.
