Financial Times has partnered with Tanger Med around a digital event under the theme: « CREATING OPPORTUNITIES IN THE MANUFACTURING SECTOR ».
The last event was organized on September 15th under the theme “Creating Opportunities in the Manufacturing Sector.” This webinar outlined the opportunities and challenges for companies operating in the industrial sector across the globe, explaining the motivations and results of different location choices. This event was also an opportunity to understand the influence of globalization and sustainable development issues within the economic planning of industrial firms.

During an engaging discussion, Jonathan Wheatley, Emerging Markets Correspondent, interviewed various speakers, leaders, and experts, who respectively stated:

Pere Relats, Relats Chairman and CEO
The Relats Group, which specializes in the manufacturing of electrical and thermal insulating tubes and mechanical protection sheaths, has been operational since July 2011. This company operates on an area of 4,000 m², so its investment evaluated at 3 MEUR has allowed the creation of 50 new jobs.
