FIRST CARGO OF WIND TURBINES FOR THE DAKHLA PROJECT UNLOADED AT THE PORT OF LAÂYOUNE

The first shipment of wind turbine components for the Dakhla wind power project arrived at Laâyoune Port in early October. A total of 7 stopovers are planned to unload the equipment required for this 60 MW project, i.e., 12 wind turbines made up of several components each, for a total tonnage of 8,000 T. This DAWEC wind power project will supply the Dakhla desalination plant and be connected to ONEE’s national grid.
