GERMAN GROUP “SCS” STAHLSCHMIDT INTERNATIONAL HOLDING GMBH SETS UP IN TANGER AUTOMOTIVE CITY

On June 22, 2022, the German Group Stahlschmidt International Holding GmbH (SCS) inaugurated a plant specializing in components and assemblies for mechanical unlocking systems, in Tanger Automotive City, in Tanger Med Industrial Platform.

Built on a plot of 21,400 m² (9,400 m² built to date, and 12,000 m² will be completed in January 2023), this plant, whose realization was accompanied by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, required an investment of 107 million MAD and will allow the creation of 1,075 jobs and the achievement of an annual turnover of more than 400 million MAD.

Specialized in the production of innovative Bowden cables, unlocking units, and plastic injection molded components, this plant aims to meet the growing needs of Tier 1 automotive manufacturers and suppliers: VW, Martur, Fujikura, Audi, Skoda, Renault, PSA, Daimler, Faurecia, etc.

Complete Bowden cable systems for automotive and industrial applications will be produced to the highest quality and environmental standards and shipped worldwide.
