As part of its commitment to modernizing port infrastructures, the National Ports Authority (ANP) has commissioned Tanger Med Engineering (TME) to carry out a technical feasibility study on dynamic moorings in several Moroccan ports.

The study covers several ports, including Nador, Mohammedia, Casablanca, Jorf Lasfar, Safi, and Agadir. The main aim of this initiative is to identify port terminals with a high consignment rate.

The aim of the study is to assess the feasibility of installing dynamic mooring solutions in these selected terminals to improve their operability rate. This technical approach is seen as a lever for optimizing port operations and boosting the efficiency of maritime activities in these strategic ports.

This is part of the ANP’s drive to modernize and adapt port infrastructures to the current demands of the maritime sector, while ensuring greater competitiveness and fluidity in trade.
