PARTICIPATION IN THE CONSULTATION MEETING TO DEVELOP THE NEW NATIONAL INDUSTRIAL STRATEGY

On December 13th, a consultation meeting in the Wilaya of Tangier, chaired by Mr. Ryad Mezzour, Minister of Industry and Trade, provided an essential forum for broadening dialogue with all industrial stakeholders in the Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima region. The main objective of this meeting was to formulate enriching proposals to reinforce the industrial strategy currently being drawn up.

Thanks to the enlightened vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and a series of coherent and convergent industrial strategies, Morocco today occupies a distinctive position as a competitive industrial hub at the regional and international level.

The meeting also identified specific opportunities for industrial development in the region, focusing on key sectors such as aeronautics, automotive, agri-food, textiles, etc., as well as potential partnerships.

Held as part of the development of a new industrial strategy, this participatory initiative involves consultation with public and private sector partners, with the aim of ensuring sustainable and balanced development of all industrial sectors.

The meeting provided a platform for bringing together the perspectives, ideas, concerns, and concrete, practical proposals of public and private industrial players. This inclusive approach has reinforced the government’s commitment to working with the industrial sector to boost.
