TANGER MED ENGINEERING EXTENDS ITS SERVICES TO THE PORT OF DJIBOUTI

Tanger Med Engineering (TME) has been awarded the international tender launched by the Société de Gestion du Terminal de Doraleh for the research and monitoring of the reinforcement works for thecontainer terminal in the port of Doraleh in Djibouti.

This mission will last 17 months with a two-year guarantee period. The Doraleh container terminal is located in Djibouti, at the entrance to the Red Sea and on the second busiest shipping route in the world. The terminal is managed by SGTD and has a capacity of 1.6 million TEU with a quay length of 1,050 meters and a depth of between -18 and -20 meters. This terminal handled over 800,000 containers in 2020.
