TANGER MED FOUNDATION ORGA NIZES THE 1ST SOLIDARITY MARKET AT TANGER MED PORT CENTER

As part of its commitment to solidarity economy and the development of income-generating activities, Tanger Med Foundation organized the first Solidarity Market. The event, which took place from December 12 to 15, 2023 in Sector 5 of Tanger Med Port Center, highlighted the region’s rich economic heritage.

Held under the theme “Together to promote the solidarity economy: Let’s discover the richness of our region together,” the market brought together some twenty cooperatives from the region to promote local expertise and fair trade. The event was an opportunity for participating cooperatives to present a variety of local products, including beehive products, handicrafts, woven products, dairy by-products, natural cosmetics, etc.

The market attracted hundreds of visitors, including Tanger Med Group employees, partners from the port community, suppliers, passengers at the ferry terminal, and visitors from neighboring towns who came to discover a wide selection of local products.
