TRAINING FOR STAFF OF THE GUINEAN NAVAL COMPANY IN THE OPERATION AND COMMERCIAL MANAGEMENT OF THE PORT OF SANDERVALIA

Tanger Med Engineering carried out a comprehensive training course for SNG members, covering management modules to enhance their skills and expertise in the maritime field and passenger traffic management.

The training was dedicated to the management and operation of passenger ships, fitting out, safety, security and in accordance with the regulatory requirements applicable to a ship and international standards.

Training participants also benefited from theoretical courses and practical simulation exercises for the commercial management aspects of a ship, including ticketing, traffic organization, catering, etc.

Following a 3D modeling of the port of Sandervalia and other ports in Guinea, TME and Tanger Med pilots also organized a passenger ship piloting course on the TMMS navigation simulator for SNG sailors.

The aim of this training is to enhance the skills of Société Navale Guinéenne (SNG) members to ensure the launch of new passenger lines in Guinea and improve SNG’s position in the port and maritime sector in the region.
