TRAINING OF MANAGERS FOR THE PORT AUTHORITY OF DOUALA IN CAMEROON

Tanger Med Engineering (TME) carried out a training course in the field of harbor management for the Officers and Managers of the Port Authority of Douala. The theoretical and practical training sessions focused on topics related to the planning and implementation of calls, maritime operations, and conservation police (VTS and BIP), security and management of hazardous materials. TME is also in charge of providing technical assistance for the updating of procedures and the review of the organization of the services of the Harbor Master’s Office of the Port Authority of Douala.

A team of 19 officers from the Port Authority of Douala received a 10-week training at TME’s premises during the months of October, November, and December of 2022. The other training sessions will be conducted at the Port Authority of Douala in early 2022.
