FESTIVAL ANJRA POUR LE PATRI MOINE POUR LA PROMOTION DE LA CULTURE À KHMISS ANJRA

Tanger Med Foundation reaffirms its commitment to promoting culture in the Fahs Anjra province by partnering with the third edition of the Anjra Heritage Festival. This festival aims to showcase the region’s tangible and intangible heritage as a driver of sustainable development.

The festival, organized from December 22 to 24 by the « Anjra for Heritage » Foundation under the theme « Heritage of the Anjra Region: A Locomotive for Sustainable Development, » sought to contribute to the cultural development of the municipality, promote village tourism, highlight and market local products, and celebrate the region’s cultural heritage.

The festival’s program included folkloric music performances, poetry sessions, a craft product exhibition, and scientific round tables on storytelling.

The festival also serves as a platform for community interaction, improving communication between local residents and visitors, and showcasing the richness of heritage and its active role in promoting sustainable development.

It is worth noting that the festival’s revival comes after a hiatus due to the pandemic and the recent Al Haouz earthquake. This edition aims to rejuvenate the event with a rich and diverse program, ensuring its continuity.
